Man cycles across America for Parkinsons

David Walsh, 43 of Cork, Ireland stopped in Parker, AZ today on his way across America in support of finding a cure for Parkinsons disease.

Walsh was diagnosed recently after a workout at the gym when what seemed like a damaged shoulder got progressively worse. After an unproductive visit to a doctor, he went to a neurologist who took less than 10 minutes to diagnose Parkinsons, for which there currently is no cure.

After making his way to Parker from Los Angeles, Walsh came to KLPZ this morning looking for a ride to Flagstaff, AZ where he will continue his journey toward New York. If anyone can give him a ride, please call us at (928) 669-9274.
