CRIT investigator dies

A criminal investigator with CRIT Police died Friday, according to a letter by CRIT Police Chief William Ponce. David Mills is survived by his wife and five children. The cause of death had not been determined by the time Ponce wrote the letter.

Rockslide closes road near famous Sundance Saloon

A rockslide has blocked the two-lane river roadway that connects Sundance Saloon to Buckskin State Park north of Parker, AZ. The boulders fell from the steep mountainside adjacent to the road after a recent storm. The Parker area has received almost three-quarters its average annual rainfall in just two weeks.
