Explosives alert closes highway near Quartzsite

2:01pm– Parker Live has learned that Highway 95 is closed on the route between Parker and Quartzsite, northbound traffic is diverted. Southbound traffic is closed at 12 Mile Junction. Transient pleads guilty to kidnapping

On April 11, 2011, David Allen Hall, 24, a transient, entered a plea of guilty to two counts of kidnapping. The plea agreement will require Hall to serve 10.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections. Hall is not eligible for probation or early release. Sentencing is set for May 9, 2011.
