Mancations Parker episode airs

The new Travel Channel show ‘Mancations‘ premiered Sunday night with their Parker-based episode.

The show follows hosts Evan and Gareth as they experience the best of Parker, AZ recreational life, including watersports, off-roading and shooting.

First, local ski instructor Chris O takes the guys out on the river for a lesson in waterskiing, wakeboarding and battleboarding. The show was shot in the winter, so they’re suited up.

Evan and Gareth then meet the Parker 4 Wheelers and go rock climbing with them before a cycling excursion on Cienega Springs Road.

The half-hour show then culminates with a trip to Bouse where they meet local tactical weapons instructor Rick Paterson and his brother Mark, shooting a variety of firearms with them including a .50 caliber rifle.

For those who missed the show Sunday night, it also airs on Travel Channel Wednesday at 8pm and 11pm, Sunday, June 12th at 7:30pm and 10:30pm, and Wednesday, June 15th at 8:30pm and 11:30pm.

The Mancations continue with other episodes in Sedona, Alaska, and at Space Camp in Alabama.
