Limericks

Josh threw down a challenge last Friday for me to write some limericks. This website being mostly G-rated, I tried to keep these clean. Enjoy!

There once were two lads on the air
And one of them went to the fair
He rode all the rides
And tossed his insides
So much for his nice pizza fare.

There once was a radio guy named John
To Belfast, Northern Ireland he was gone
He said he’d phone home
But he left us alone
Now he’s up at the crack of dawn.

There once was a DJ named Josh
Who lived life a little too posh
He went on a diet
We think it’s a riot
Now he eats barely a nosh.

There once were two lads on the air
They made quite the funny pair
Listeners in Finland
Listeners in Ireland
The lads were successful in their dare.

There once was a town called Quartzsite
Where all the people were quite uptight
Voters made their selection
Management denies the election
Residents, get ready for another fight.

I wrote my first limerick about me, “There once was a writer named Cate… .” It met the traditional raunchy requirement – and is not included here.
