Hailey and Vicki

Miss La Paz County Hailey Ferris and Miss La Paz County Outstanding Teen Victoria Ferris will be heading to the Miss Arizona competition in Mesa, AZ later this month.

The sisters, aged 18 and 16, will compete in interview, fitness, talent, evening gown and on-stage question against others from around the state of Arizona. Hailey’s talent will be a character jazz dance to Le Jazz Hot and Victoria will sing Only Hope by Mandy Moore from the movie A Walk to Remember.

Hailey is a recent graduate of Parker High School and is planning to attend Grand Canyon University this Fall. Victoria is a junior at Parker High. They are the daughters of Paul and Shannon Johnson. Both young women won their titles in March at the La Paz County Fair, beginning a year of service as role models and community volunteers. They are also promoting their personal and national platform for the Miss America Organization Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Hailey’s platform is Live to Fight: Living with Adolescent Depression. Victoria’s platform is 4-H: Power of the Clover.
