Drop in tourism revenue

The Chamber Perspective reported to members of the Parker Area Chamber of Commerce in August that tourism revenues in La Paz County dropped almost 17 percent from 2008 to 2009. Man pleased guilty to child abuse and assault

Jason Martinez, 29, of Parker and an enrolled member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes, pleaded guilty this week in two separate cases to child abuse and assault with a dangerous weapon.
