APS power outage at 10:31am

10:36am– Some APS customers in the town of Parker suffered a power outage at 10:31am this morning.

10.45am– No word yet on the cause of the outage, which continues in the town of Parker. Most homes and businesses appear to be out. KLPZ 1380am is off the air.

10:55am– APS customers in Bouse and Quartzsite report outages also.

11:13am– The speculation is that a large WAPA line is down unexpectedly and power may not be restored for a while. A Desert Messenger report of poles being worked on north of Quartzsite may not be related.

11:26am– Power restored.

11:29am– Other areas should be restored soon. No official cause yet.

Most of La Paz County was without power, according to APS.
