Parker Livecast #31: Who is living in this cave near Parker?

Warning: Contains some adult language.

This entire episode of the Parker Livecast was recorded ‘live’ from a truck in the middle of the desert, traveling out to an old mineshaft where we believe someone is living, in an attempt to interview them.

It didn’t work out quite like that, as you’ll hear by listening here. But we were able to confirm that there is definitely somebody who has ‘moved in’ to the old cave, and did a little digging around before one of our team had a ‘bad vibe’ and we left.

Who is living in a cave near Parker, AZ? John Wright, Michael Collins and Josh Savino head out to the mine in this episode (28 mins). Photos attached.

Not sure where this cave is located. But many years ago there was a man that lived in a cave out in the desert. Maybe the 40’s or 50’s. Out by the Bill Williams river but making your way back through the canyon that brings you out on Shea road.

Would you like going through your house. Just maybe he thinks we’re all crazy so he moved into a cave to be LEFT ALONE PEOPLE. Find other news ,go look for drug dealers.

  27. Fooled Me Once: I’m not sure what any of that was about, but on the internet that’s called yelling. Stop yelling at us please. (I also suspect you would do well to lighten up a little. No harm, no foul.) Peace!

Who’s judging? We wanted to go interview him. And it’s in a very public place: hardly invasive!

  29. Melinda Barnett

Do you want someone walking into your “home” and checking out what you got and blasting it on face book? So I guess it’s ok to just just walk in your home and check your stuff out and say it’s for an interview. Yikes! You are lucky you didn’t get cracked upside the head with that shovel and put in that potty chair! People who want to be away from society, there’s a reason for it.

  30. Parker Live Updates

You got as far as the potty chair? Thanks for listening. 🙂

  31. “We wanted to go interview him. And in a very public place: hardly invasive!”

Too bad local media don’t apply this standard to the scumbag politicians and non-elected scum drawing a paycheck with our stolen dollars. Really sad!

  32. First of all it’s not someones home … It is the rio vista mine company’s property … next we have every right to investegate who’s living in or on .. our neighbor property with out them knowing. Yes this property is with in walking distance of our houses … for you bleeding hearts out there go pick this person up and let thme move into your home.

  33. the people who think that this is ok are foul
we should get this guy off the radio and let the airspace be used to raise money for the homeless and people in need

  34. Jesus some people need to get a life and lighten up! Lol not everything is an ‘issue’ people. Great show and entertaining as f***. Please don’t mind the haters, they have nothing good to say about anything ever

  35. You guys fool me three times!

  36. Fooled three times?
    Shame on your parents!

  37. You guys, Really? While this cave may not be a home, and it is “very public”, it is CLEARLY a place where someone has placed their belongings and made a comfy bed for his or herself out of the harsh AZ weather to sleep in. Watching the video was like watching an episode of “COPS” You guys rummaged through this persons things as if you were looking for drugs or, weapons, as if this person had broken the law. I felt sad for the Caveman. If you were out camping and had set up a campsite with bedding, cookware, and things you would need to make you comfortable would you want someone to dig through your stuff if you stepped away from camp to pee, fish or hike ect. imagine how you would feel if you returned to camp to find you had been searched. Anyway, I’m not trying to be a hater, I just think it may have been better to see that someone was sleeping there, and leave things alone. Its just the polite thing to do.

  38. Hey Kristen- Respectfully we disagree. A better analogy is more like somebody left a pile of stuff on the street, and we took a closer look at it! This was fairly lighthearted and curious, not supposed to be mean or judgy. Sorry you didn’t enjoy it, hope you’ll like the next one better. 🙂

  39. Maybe the county’s secret meeting place?

  40. Isn’t that public property? Which we the tax payers should be able to enjoy! Why in the world is this person allowed to stay there? We like going to the caves and explore! So this person makes us all feel unsafe in the area! For all we know it is someone hiding from the law! So when they decide to move on they will leave their mess behind!!
We were there a couple of months ago found a pile of stuff close that liked like stuff from a robbery that they didn’t want. We called the cops and told them what we found they never responded. I guess they don’t care if it’s someone who is stealing or dangerous! Come on people wake up and get it cleaned up!!
