Quartzsite Police evidence tech pleads guilty

A former evidence technician for the Quartzsite Police Department has pleaded guilty to stealing about $25,000 from the department, according to the Associated Press. Christy Conley, 46, was indicted in May for stealing about $20,000 in cash from an evidence safe in 2017, including $13,000 that belonged to a deceased man’s estate. CRIT to make $2 million per year for fallowed farmland

The Colorado River Indian Tribes (CRIT) Tribal Council has approved a System Conservation Agreement which will provide the Tribes with more than $2 million per year in exchange for fallowing 1,884 acres of farmland on the reservation.
