John Wright – I believe democracy should run its course on this website. I think you should let the people vote whether to allow Mr. Roth to keep posting or ban him. I will start and I vote to allow him to keep posting. He does not bother me. My prediction is that the people will overwhelmingly vote to remove him, which would not necessarily be a bad thing. Will you put it up for a vote?
I do care. I don’t care what Mr. Roth says. I’m tired of his posts. And if somebody doesn’t tell him; he will never know. I like this site. His posts are making me not want to visit this site anymore. It’s constant negative comments about everything wrong in the world and La Paz County. How bad this person is, that person is; blah, blah, blah. We know that, I get it. It’s important to keep striving doing right, doesn’t change overnight. How about some positive comments. Here’s one….there are many, many people of La Paz County that are great people. It is disheartening to see much focus how bad things are and what a craphole La Paz County is, well; I don’t think it is. It is what we make it and right now we’re making it a craphole. And one way not to make it a craphole, is to say good things and not bad. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all.”…..Mom. Good episode, of Glee on tonight.
Me again, one more thing before I get off my soapbox. The La Paz County Fair is coming it’s important for everyone to go out and support it. There are other upcoming events that should be supported too. To add, there are lessons to be learned with the hardship the county is going through right now. Lessons for the upcoming generation who will be the leaders-soon. It has taught us to be humble, understand our actions bear consequences, to lead not follow with our heads bowed in silence- keeping our eye on the prize. Our prize, a better La Paz County for the next generation.
John, this site has had many great discussions on local topics, like under aged drinking. People wrote opposing views and were open them. We will no longer have those discussions, as the reason is obvious. Establish a set of rules with consequences. If the rules are violated more than three times, then restrict their right to post. You have to come up with something; otherwise Roth will be the only one posting. But give him a chance to change. When, not if, but when him does not change, he has no one to blame but himself. Please bring the site back to what it once was.
Mubarak, Gadhafi…could Roth be next? The people are speaking loudly.
Wow as a County we are truly lost.

Michael Roth has been suspended from posting on this site. Some of the above has been removed… it’s just not relevant to the subject. Roth’s comments have become more and most disruptive and discouraging to the general conversation here. I hope this will encourage others to use the comments sections for proper discussion now.

Well Roth does need to learn a bit about civility but to BAN him? Well John you have just created the KLPZ love fest site. Now you can be assured that only those that agree with your point of view post their love for your ideas and this site are welcome.
I cant think of a more absurd comment to make after weeks of dissenting opinions being exchanged en masse here on this site. What site have you been reading?!
As youu know fine well, it was the method, not the message. I gave Roth multiple opportunities to give his opinions without insults, derogatory comments and disruption. He couldn’t do it. Its that simple.

I agree John… I think you and I disagree at times and can do so without derogatory and negative comments.
